Pearl Millet is also known as Bajra, Sajje, Kambu, Sajjalu, Kambalam. Bajra is a nutritious and easy to digest cereal grain; being non-glutinous makes it a healthy option for people with a gluten allergy and celiac disease. Dry pearl millet flour is added to biscuits and breads to add a crunchy texture and to bring variety to baked foods. Millets are generally rain fed crops grown in dry lands thus assuming greater importance for regenerative agriculture and food security; they serve as a good source for proteins, micronutrients and phytochemicals. USAGE INFO

Wash the Millet thoroughly a few times and leave to soak in water for 4-8 hours. Further they could be sprouted or fermented to make Idli / Dosa Batter etc. or boiled in water, similar to rice.

Once packet in opened store in an airtight jar in a cool, dry place, away from moisture and direct sunlight, to maintain their freshness.
